This event benefits animal rescue groups and other organizations that help the stray and abandoned animals of the Tri-State area. NOTE: All attending dogs must be at least 4 months of age, altered and current on vaccinations.

Rescue Pledge Walk

You'll have the opportunity to walk the River Downs race track with your dog in our two mile Pledge Walk and help raise money for rescue! Get your friends and coworkers to sponsor you to help save animals in need. Winners of the Pledge Walk will receive gift certificates for local businesses. We will have a Blessing of the Animals at 9:15 am and the Pledge Walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. All participants will receive a T-shirt and a bandana for their pup.
